Home entertainment center- Muse X-Duo RAID

With more technology being introduced, the Muse X-Duo-RAID 2bay NAS system is definitely the most capable of the NAS products released in 2007. With the experience of technology Thermaltake’s research and development team, recent investments in disk storage and management have produced remarkable products in the past year which includes the Muse X-Duo’s powerful RAID system and Network Attached Storage.

Muse X-Duo RAID uses two SATA 3.5” hard drives for storage, built-in hardware support for RAID 0, 1 and JBOD, and is connected through the Internet with a T4 HUB. Also used as a internal file server to share resources though out the office or family members, important media files such as family photos, or music can be placed and shared easily and with the RAID 1 function, there is no worry about losing valuable data archives. Sharing files over the internet is also easy while the Muse X-Duo still maintains a high level of security.

More features include the ability to act as a music server, being able to use programs such as iTunes to access the music in the Muse X-Duo wherever you are.  In addition to being a media server, the Muse X-Duo acts as an additional FTP server and a print server.

On the front of the X-Duo, there is a One Touch Backup button to easily transfer files from a digital camera or a USB Flash drive to the file storage. Just insert the memory card from the camera into the card reader or the Flash Drive to a USB port and press the One Touch Backup button and all your files will be transferred automatically to a pre-set folder of your choice. All this can be done without the computer being on.

With the compact body of the exterior and the elegant silver exterior design, the Muse X-Duo RAID is not only functional but can be a centerpiece in home décor.
