The Evolutionary Chassis – Thermaltake Kandalf
Liquid Cooling System
|
Originating the concept from car
heat dissipation designs, the Thermaltake Kandalf
LCS(Liquid Cooling System) will have the radiator
directly in front of the chassis. Running the liquid
cooling system through a design such as this, every
system component in the computer will be cooled
without producing excess noise. The Kandalf LCS has
integrated several liquid cooling components into
the front door, thus the setup procedure for the
system will be much simpler and easier than the
standard liquid cooling systems. There shall be no
worries for an incomplete or complex manual since
this system will be so simple to put together, a
newcomer will be able to build it.
The Kandalf LCS has simple and round
lines outlining the shielded look of the chassis.
The front door utilizes an all-aluminum alloy with
implemented mesh grill. The ventilation in the front
of the chassis greatly increases the cold air
airflow into the computer. The Thermaltake logo is
placed solidly in the center of the door as the
centerpiece of the system.
The Kandalf LCS’s structure places
the radiator towards the nose of the chassis to
maximize the usable space within the chassis. An
outstanding difference is that the radiator is 360mm
long and has three 120mm fans mounted onto it for
maximum cooling. The chassis also contains rear
exhaust fans to draw out the hot air to effectively
eliminate any possibilities of overheating. The
Kandalf LCS utilizes a P500 motor to flow at maximum
500 liters per hour, as a result, the system can be
expanded to cool video cards and memories in the
future at any time. Since the liquid cooling system
is integrated, users only need to connect the
waterblock and the pump for the whole system to
start working. The Kandalf LCS offers spacious
interior for easy installation and tube routing at
the same time.
Although a great majority of the
current motherboards in the market is still ATX, the
Kandalf LCS does support BTX for any possible BTX
usage in the future. The expandability to BTX saves
money for both consumers and manufacturers as no one
wants to swap out the whole chassis just because of
an upgrade.
The Kandalf LCS supports up to nine
5.25” drive bays, two exposed 3.5” drive bays, and
six hidden 3.5” drive bays. The system will support
the power users that upgrade and expand their
computer systems endlessly. The front USB, audio,
and firewire ports come as a standard feature on the
Kandalf LCS for the highest convenience possible.
Thermaltake is also proud to announce the inclusion
of HD Audio compatible front audio jacks with the
Kandalf LCS. The audiophiles will now be able to
enjoy high definition music and effects through
connect the front audio jacks.
If you do not want to bear the
suffering of fan noises and average cooling
solutions, the Kandalf LCS chassis will be the best
choice you have ever made.
