Desktop computer system performance is becoming more
demanding as the illustration, 3-D graphics,
multimedia, and gaming becomes more intense. The
thermal dissipation issue is an issue that is
receiving more serious attention as the systems get
hotter. The original air cooling systems are no
longer as desirable as liquid cooling systems when
it comes to the ultimate performance. However, many
users worry about the waterblocks leaking and
damaging their precious systems. Thermaltake
Technology thoroughly understands the discomfort and
worries of the consumers and system integrators,
through years of research and development,
Thermaltake is proud to present the Aqua Brazing all
copper series waterblock.
The waterblock is consisted of
100% all copper with 99.9% purity. The purity of the
copper enables extremely high thermal efficiency and
is suited perfectly for the high-temperature welding
process. The base of the waterblock contains a
numerous amount of thermal fins for a large overall
surface area for the liquid to take away the heat
from the processor. The high-temperature welding
process is also known as brazing technology.
Thermaltake has especially selected the copper
soldering material that contains 5%-15% of silver
and between 705~850℃ for the best thermal
conductivity and most thorough penetration. The
brazing process is easily machined,
corrosion-resistant, and withstands high pressure.
As a result, the users can use these waterblocks
within their computer systems without having to
worry about leaks.
The Aqua Brazing all copper
series – W1 is the world’s first waterblock that is
compatible with AMD K7, K8, Intel Pentium 4 LGA775,
Pentium 4 Socket 478, and Intel BTX form factor.
The Aqua Brazing all copper
series –W2 is a perfect waterblock for the
performance-oriented graphic cards in that dissipate
too much heat for their own good. Thermaltake’s all
new VGA waterblock and the universal mounting
mechanism fully supports both NVIDIA and ATI’s
graphic processing units. The backplate behind the
video card will ensure that the precious graphic
card does not deform due to an excess amount of
torque and pressure from improper mounting of the
waterblock.
Overall speaking, the lower the
internal temperature of a computer system is, the
more stable the system runs. The motherboards today
are trending towards combining both the Northbridge
and Southbridge for faster speed. However, as a
result of the combination of the Northbridge and
Southbridge, the heat from the chip is dramatically
increased as well. The Aqua Brazing all copper
series – W3, pinpoints the source of this new
chipset’s heat and annihilates any sort of
overheating problems that may occur from this new
chip.
In order to maximize the heat
dissipation efficiency and future expandability,
Thermaltake highly recommends the BigWater 745 as
the liquid cooling system of choice in the
consumer’s performance system. With a pump that is
capable of 400 liters per hour and two independent
radiators, users will never need to worry about
their liquid cooling system not being able to
dissipate the heat within their computer system.
With the new Aqua Brazing all copper series
waterblocks, the combination of the two will be
seamless and nearly perfect.
Thermaltake Technology’s new
all-copper waterblocks are the safest, best, and
only choice for your liquid cooling system.
