Thermaltake Chassis Aguila - the perfect
combination
|
The name “Aguila” originates from Spanish and stands
for the word “eagle.” Thinking outside of the
traditional box, the Aguila's panel and design
combines the surface and aesthetics of the alloy
used. The result of the fusion of art and metal is
one that is simplistic and functional – the Aguila
is unique in all aspects.
Using a full aluminum alloy front panel
door, the Aguila irradiates an aura that plastic
front panels will never be able to imitate. The
whole front panel features hairline pattern design
and a smooth finish that will be
fingerprint-resistant as well as look elegant and
sleek on the display.
The triple-layered front panel and the
front 120mm silent fan provide a high volume of air
intake into the chassis. There is also a 120mm
exhaust fan in the rear of the chassis to pull out
the hot air from the system and help the front
intake fan induce cold air into the system. As a
result of this push-pull airflow, there will always
be cold air inside the chassis which, in return,
will help elongate the life of the consumers’
hardware. Furthermore, the entire filtered front
panel is designed to keep dust to a minimum level
and the washable dust filter is to maximize
ventilation performance.
If anyone ever wants to upgrade to liquid
cooling or try the BTX platform, the Aguila retains
holes for pump mounting and optional BTX upgrade
kits available. The future-proof functionality
satisfies all kinds of users out there, from
standard consumers to gamers to enthusiasts. The
final result of the broad range of audiences that
will be able to enjoy this chassis, the Aguila will
be able to have an extremely long shelf life.
The Aguila comes in silver, which is
constructed of aluminum, and black, which is
constructed of steel. It features five 5.25” drive
bays, two 3.5” exposed drive bays, and four hidden
3.5” drive bays. The expandability of the Aguila is
simply unmatched by competitors of the same class.
The screw-less kits for 5.25” drive bays and add-on
cards of the Aguila lets the users install
components easily and the switch-able front panel
door enables the Aguila to be placed into any corner
of your desktop system.
To further demonstrate the growing
popularity of the computer modding trend, leading
hard drive manufacturer Western Digital recently
annouced the world's first Clear-Cover Hard Drive
"Raptor X". As the industry's leader in chassis
industry, Thermaltake designed the Aguila from
ground up so user will be able to take advantage of
the Raptor X's Clear-Cover design through Aguila’s
windowed side panel. With the functionality and the
attractiveness this chassis features, the Aguila
will be a strong contender in all arenas.
