The Dream-like Mid-Tower Creation - Thermaltake Chassis Armor Jr

In the beginning of the year 2005, Thermaltake Technology, the leader of system cooling technologies released the Armor Super Tower chassis. Now, the DNA on the Armor is being transcribed into its successor, the Armor Jr. taking the essences that made the Armor famous, the Armor Jr. is much more compact with all the advantages of the Armor. The Armor Jr. is now compact, lightweight, cool, quiet, user-friendly, yet still stylish – an ideal concept for the modern LAN gamer.

The Armor Jr. features an all-new and all-aluminum front panel structure that maximized utilization for the space available in the chassis. The new structure features five 5.25” drive bays and six 3.5” drive bays in standard ATX mode. As expected, the chassis is built for the future as well, meaning BTX upgradeability. Under the BTX setup, the Armor Jr. can hold three 5.25” drive bays and six 3.5” drive bays. With future upgradeability in mind, Thermaltake has made the Armor Jr. compatible with liquid cooling systems in the future. There are screw holes built in on the bottom to mount water pumps and reservoirs.

Moreover, the Armor Jr. retains the versatility in that the power switch can be moved around up and down the front panel, depending on the preferences of the user. Thermaltake has once again tuned the Armor Jr. towards the recommendations of the consumers and made the 3.5” cage removable for easy installation. The Armor Jr. also caters to the needs of the chassis modifiers in this field with the release of the Armor Jr. with both windowed and non-windowed versions. To further demonstrate the growing popularity of the computer modding trend, leading hard drive manufacturer Western Digital recently annouced the world's first Clear-Cover Hard Drive "Raptor X". As the industry's leader in chassis industry, Thermaltake designed the Armor Jr. from ground up so user will be able to take advantage of the Raptor X's Clear-Cover design through Armor Jr.’s windowed side panel.

The Armor Jr. also comes in both stealthy black and elegant silver, depending on the preference of the consumer. The Armor Jr. is essentially the revolution of the mid-towers in the computer systems market. Silent, cool, stylish, versatile, user-friendly, and future-proof -the Armor Jr. is an excellent choice for both the home theatre users and power gamers.
