October 2006 - Taipei, Taiwan –

       
        The world's largest computer game festival, the World Cyber Games (www.worldcybergames.com, WCG) 2006 Grand Final in Monza, Italy, begins countdown.



        This WCG 2006 is expected to be the largest-scale ever in WCG history as 700 gamers from 70 participating countries with six newly joined countries such as Ireland, Saudi Arabia will join at the WCG Grand Final.



        WCG 2006 Grand Final in Monza, Italy, starts on 18th with the opening ceremony at the main stage set up on the Formula 1 track from 6:00p.m., local time. The four-day long tournament schedule begins on 19th with 8 official games including PC games: “StarCraft : Brood War”, “WarCraft III : the Frozen Throne”, “Counterstrike 1.6 : Half Life”, “Warhammer 40,000 : Winter Assault”, “FIFA Soccer 2006”, and “Need for Speed : Most Wanted”, and 2 console games: Dead or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) and Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360). WCG 2006 will begin the 5-day long world's largest gaming festival, for the first time in European continent.
