Thermaltake announces the new TWV 500W ATX Power Supply

Thermaltake Technologies, the leader in heat dissipation has revised its Purepower TWV 500W ATX power supplies. The new Purepower TWV 500W not only meets the specifications of Intel ATX 12V 2.0, it also provides active PFC or no PFC depending on the preference of the consumer. The low-noise, high-airflow, and blue LED fan matched with the honeycombed heat vents provide the power supply with excellent heat dissipation.

The improved TWV500W retains its greatest selling-point: the modularized cable connectors and the reduced cable cluster that result. Without the extra and unused cables that dangle around inside the system, the airflow inside the chassis is greatly increased, looks cleaner, and the overall environment temperature is decreased. The new Purepower TWV 500W provides two independent +12V output, 2 sets of PCI-Express graphic card connectors, and two sets of S-ATA power connectors. Users will no longer need to worry about their power supply not being able to power their newest nVIDIA SLI or ATi Cross-Fire graphic setups with their new power supply. The new TWV (Total Watts Viewer) unit not only appears more elegant than ever, it also refreshes faster and allows the user to see how much power the power supply is outputting, indirectly translating to how fast the fan is spinning at.

The dual-core ready Purepower TWV 500W is perfect for the power-hungry modern gaming computers and graphic professionals. Its black mesh cable sleeving and the easy-connecting 4-pin Molex connectors enable a fast and easy installation of the power supply into the computer system. The Purepower TWV 500W utilizes the new 24(20)pin connector for the main motherboard connector. The 24(20)pin connector enables users to change motherboards at any time without needing to use an adaptor and compatible with old and new Intel and AMD motherboards alike. The over-voltage, over-current, overheating, and short-circuit protections all help protect the system of the user from being damaged in any unfortunate events. The newly revised Purepower TWV 500W series will allow the users to experience the ATX12V 2.0 power supply in a complete state of euphoria.
